Thank you to Massimo Taronna for this report: The Italian Championship was great! Twelve J/22s participated in April, and we had a lot of fun. There was a nice fight between Alcione, a J/22 of the LNI Napoli, and another J/22 from Torre del Greco. In the end, the Naples boat with Dario Desiderio at the rudder and Ezio Giugno as tailer won the competition. The boat from Torre del Greco received a penalty at the very end and was disqualified, while the LNI Naples got also second and third place with the younger teams of the sport group in Naples growing at an impressive pace!
