At the December 2, 2020 IJ22CA World Council meeting, the new J/22 Class Rules were unanimously approved by all voting National Class Associations. International Technical Chair Ron Harris led a working group to rewrite the Class Rules into World Sailing format. The Rules have been approved by World Sailing and are in effect as of March 1, 2021.
